The DCR is a multi disciplined artist initiative. De DCR is located in the former office building of the electric power plant in The Heague. The DCR offers workspace to 40 artists, designers and architects (members) and Studio Loos [music] , danslab [dance] and Zeebelt Theatre. The DCR is a public platform for arts-activities and debate on the present development in the visual arts. The program consists of presentations, lectures, artist talks and events.
The Gueststudio's of the DCR have three seperate studio's for living and working of 40 m2, incl. internet. Duration of one working period is three months (with possibility for shorter or longer working periods). At the start of the residency the artist will make an introduction to his work for the DCR members. To conclude the residency stay the artist wil organize a presentation or activity.
