AIR - Artists' Interaction and Representation is a membership body for practising visual and applied artists . Its mission is to be the voice of practising artists and through discussion and debate, to identify the issus that impact on artists' practice abd campaign for artistic, legislative and economic measures to enhance the working lives and professional status of artists. AIR seeks to promote the central role of the artist within a diverse and sutainable cultural landscape.
AIR provides professional benefits such as free Public liability insurance, low cost Artists Insurance Policy and events. Members also receive specialist publications and information provided by a-n The Artists Information Company including access to all resources on www.a-n.co.uk and automatic alerts to claim from DACS Payback.

In 2010 AIR implemented a framework to provide representation and a 'voice' for artists within decision-making status of artists and advocate for good working practices across the visual arts.
